00:03:14 – In the Beginning
So here’s what got me into it. I had owned several different multimillion dollar businesses that I created, and sold all of those over a period of years and then decided that I wanted to be the CEO of a company and I got hired to be president of a national health care company. And my ego was like, oh, wow, that’s cool, right? And for five years, I spent my time being the CEO and being miserable. I wasn’t connecting with people. The company loved me and I wasn’t satisfied. And then one day on an airplane, I ran into someone and just chit chatting said what do you do? And this is, you know, ages ago back 25 years ago. She said, I’m a coach. And my dumb response was, what sport what team? And she chuckled and she said, No, no, I’m a business coach. And I thought, what is that? That was on a Friday, I was flying to Boston. I remember, I went online, I looked up coaching, and I went, that’s what I’ve been doing my whole life. I didn’t know what it was called. Shortly after that, I quit my JOB. I’ve been doing this for about 25 years, and change the direction of my company about five or six years ago, to really focus on how to do business without traditional transactional sales and marketing. And to do it through Heart to Heart connection.

Yeah. So the first thing that I will say is a part of the process still is common two things radical forgiveness worksheet, and in the book, I give them appendix to where you can get it. Collin was going to write the foreword for the book and thought about it and got back to me and said, and at the time, he was already pretty much dying with cancer said I just don’t think I can do what I have to focus on my health and I said, may I use the download to your worksheet and he let me put the link in there. So the part of the process is to do the worksheet. The worksheet helps you raise your consciousness where you’re not forgiving. The second part of the process is taking decade by decade, 0 to 10.
00:38:15 – You’re a human being so you have a life
So So here’s what I see happening. And you know, I’ve been doing this so many thousand clients that I can generalize. I see people get the mindset stuff, they understand their first actions. So they’re here and all they need, literally, all they need to do is just like, step over there. It’s not a big step, and it’s not a leap, and we’re not jumping. And what stops some people is their own lack of self confidence, self worth and belief. And so people sometimes say to me, oh, I hired you to be a business consultant. And I’m like, you’re a human being so you have a life. And as I noticed what holds you back? Do you want me just to ignore that and keep telling you what strategies and tactics to do Or do you want me to say, wait a minute, here’s why you’re not doing it. Let me bust through those beliefs, those quote blocks, let’s get to the other part from where you are through the gap. And let me help you do it.
00:49:00 – Get paid to do your own marketing
So I actually give my client family members the exact templates, they can download them, and they just customize them with the name of their business. And not even with the name of the event, they use the names that have been proven to work by techniques I’ve been doing for years. So all they do is they go to local newspapers that have calendar events, or very inexpensive local newspapers that are literally putting in a tiny little ads, the ads because of the wording, pull the attention of their exact target audience, then they use that same ad, if they want on Facebook, it’s not mandatory, and it only cost about 50 to $100 maximum to use the app. And they will typically get anywhere from 20 to 40. People at their events, some of them get a little bit more, some of them get a tiny bit less, almost everybody gets a minimum of 10. So every single time they’re doing one of these, they’re making between $200 and $500, while creating value and They’re getting paid to do their marketing and they have a consistent and constant conveyor belt of hot leads really hot. Not high hot leads.
00:54:25 – Done for you library
I realized is what people really wanted is they wanted to make more money in their business. And they want to learn how to do that ongoing. So let’s just say this year you get to 300,000. How do I do 350 400 next year, I’m at 500. So the huge leap by the way between $100,000 business and a $300,000 business a huge leap between three and five, five and seven, seven and a million and, in my experience, having done this many times on my own going from a million to Two or 3 million is also huge. So I stick with people in that capacity. However, I do license people to use my materials so they do not have to reinvent the wheel. I give them the ability so I have a done for you library. It costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to build. Everything is built for you. You could be a coach, a consultant, a mortgage broker, a florist, a realtor, a spot own, it doesn’t matter, you go into this library, everything is done. All you do is download whatever you want you put your business name in, reports, websites, opt ins, lead magnets, articles, magazines, ads, everything’s done.
